The Deaf Smith Chapter serves in and around Pasadena, La Porte, and the Greater Houston area along with other SRT chapters with various projects, ceremonies, and awards.
The Deaf Smith Chapter is involved with various pubic service initiatives in the region which seek to preserve and promote the history of the Republic of Texas.
Honoring Historical Dates
SRT are often stewards at events which remind Texans of historical events that shaped who we are as Texas today.
Maintenance to Historical Markers
SRT cleans, decorates, and restores historical sites and grave markers of the Republic of Texas.
Presenting Texas History
SRT provides schools with speakers who teach about the people, places, and events that made the Republic of Texas.
Gathering Monthly
SRT meets each month to discuss SRT business and host speakers on Texas history.
